2/99 41 yr. old male diagnosed w/Squamous Cell Cancer at base of tongue with extensive metastasis to throat, esophagus & lymph nodes

2/99 Radical neck dissection surgery

3/16/99 Initiated chemo & radiation

3/22/99 Refused anymore chemo & radiation: wanted to die in “peace”.

5/99 Initiated oral & I.V. program

10/03 Patient still in full remission
